WHRAC Webinars

Understanding Recent Fertility Policy Developments in Texas

WHRAC hosted an educational webinar in partnership with the American Public Health Association (APHA) Sexual and Reproductive Health Section. The webinar featured Barb Collura (Vital Voices Consulting and former President & CEO of RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association), Stephanie Jones (Co-Founder of State Strong), and Karla Torres, JD, MA (Senior Human Rights Counsel at the Center for Reproductive Rights) to discuss the July 8 Texas Senate hearing, the Texas GOP platform related to IVF, and what these recent policy developments mean for patients, providers, and advocates across Texas.

Hosted by Dr. Laetitia Meyrueix, PhD, one of WHRAC’s Scientific Advisors, this webinar explored PMDD—what it is, how it differs from PME and bipolar disorder, the biology behind it, and pathways for better care and advocacy. Dr. Meyrueix also highlights trusted resources, including IAPMD, for people living with PMDD and those who support them.
