Philanthropy
At WHRAC, we believe that small acts of care can have a big impact. Our philanthropy efforts aim to bring tangible comfort, support, and encouragement to individuals navigating women’s health challenges, especially those related to infertility, hormonal health, and pregnancy loss.
WHRAC Peer Support Groups
Launching 2026
WHRAC’s Peer Support Groups are virtual, community-centered spaces designed to support people navigating overlooked women’s health experiences. These groups are not therapy—they are safe, confidential, nonjudgmental environments where participants can connect with others who understand their experiences, process emotions, and explore coping tools in a supportive setting.
Grounded in trauma-informed principles, each group series will be facilitated by Dr. Laetitia Meyrueix, PhD, a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist, with support from Dr. Leah Chapman, PhD, MPH, WHRAC’s Founder and Executive Director. Together, they bring doctoral-level expertise in women’s and reproductive health, coupled with insight from lived experience.
Our pilot offerings will launch as free virtual series, with small-group formats designed to foster meaningful connection and participation. Initial topics will focus on areas of high need within women’s health—such as infertility and menstrual health—with additional themes to be added as the program grows.
Participants will complete a short interest form and will receive follow-up guidance from our team with next steps.
These peer support groups reflect WHRAC’s commitment to transforming research and lived experience into practical, healing-centered resources that uplift and empower our community.
More details, dates, and enrollment information will be announced soon.

Cards of Comfort
In our first year, we’re focusing on card-writing campaigns that deliver handwritten messages of empathy and encouragement to women navigating health challenges such as infertility, pregnancy loss, endometriosis, PCOS, and PMDD. These notes are distributed through fertility clinics and community partners, offering a powerful emotional lift during some of the most uncertain and isolating moments in the reproductive health journey.
Want to help? Host a card-writing night with friends, your book club, or a community group and help us remind women they are not alone. Contact us at info@whrac.org.
